We are currently seeking: ### **GENERAL ASSISTANT / EDGER APPRENTICE** ### **Essential Requirements:** * Education: Completed secondary school or incomplete bachelor’s degree * Experience: Preferred in production, maintenance, or as a general assistant (not mandatory) * Basic knowledge of manual and electric tools * Ability to lift materials or equipment * Service-oriented attitude, responsibility, punctuality, and commitment * Willingness to learn and grow within an optical laboratory ### **Main Responsibilities:** * Support in the **edging and mounting process of ophthalmic lenses** (training provided). * Mounting lenses into frames according to specifications. * Basic operation of **edgers, polishers, and generators**. * Visual verification of lens measurements, cuts, and finishes. * Basic cleaning and maintenance of the work area and machinery. * Handling and organizing materials, lenses, and frames. * Compliance with laboratory quality, safety, and hygiene standards. ### **We Offer:** * Base salary: **$12,000 gross monthly** * Punctuality and attendance bonuses * Grocery vouchers * Statutory and above-statutory benefits * Schedule: **Monday to Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.** * Health benefits: Discounts on lab tests, medical consultations, nutritionist, and psychologist services. * Support for studies and English classes.
