Teaching animation, 3D modeling, and VFX **Hourly Class Instructor – Automotive Design Engineering** **Location:** Puebla, Puebla. **Modality:** In-person **Position Type:** Hourly class instructor **Job Description** **Universidad de Ciencias de la Comunicación de Puebla (UCIC)** is seeking an **Hourly Class Instructor** for the **Bachelor’s Program in Digital Animation**, to teach the following courses: * Experimental Animation * Animation for Video Games * Visual Effects (VFX) * 3D Modeling * Motion Capture * Character Animation **Main Responsibilities** * Deliver theoretical and practical classes to students enrolled in the **Bachelor’s Program in Digital Animation**. * Design and implement **instructional lesson plans aligned with the academic curriculum**. * Teach fundamentals of **design methodology, conceptual design, and product development**. * Advise on academic projects related to **automotive component design and modeling**. * Evaluate students’ academic performance through **projects, practical assignments, and examinations**. **Requirements** * Master’s degree in Digital Animation, Digital Design, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or related field * Professional experience in the animation, video game, or visual effects industry * Proficiency in specialized software (e.g., Maya, Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, After Effects, or others) * Teaching experience (preferred) * Skills in project development and competency-based instruction **Desired Competencies:** * Competency-based instructional planning. * Creativity and innovation * Technical expertise in digital animation * Effective communication * Collaborative work * Use of active teaching strategies and project-based learning. * Collaborative work and academic mentoring of students. **We Offer** * Employment on an **hourly class basis**. * Opportunity to join a **specialized academic team**. * Professional development in the **teaching and technological fields**.
