Job Summary: We are seeking a customer service representative with experience in the electronic or automotive industry to provide support and service to customers and the sales team. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in customer service in electronic or automotive industries. 2. Development of strong relationships with customers and team members. 3. Coordination of resources to exceed customer expectations. Summary – We are looking for a candidate with previous experience as buyer in the electronic or automotive industry, or previous experience as Customer service in a distribution company supplier of those type of industries....or some previous similar experience. This is a mandatory requirement. Our Customer Service Reps provide service and support for our customers from Electronics, Automotive and Mechanical metal industries, and the branch sales team with activities such as: Expedites, order entry, credit and rebills, open order administration, quoting, forecast analysis, follow up on quotes, RMAs, Inside Sales support, among others. Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Ability to work independently and with teams to: * Satisfy customers through, among other tasks, timely processing of orders. * Develop solid working relationships with customers and team members. * Respond to customer inquiries in a timely, effective and professional manner. * Coordinate internal and external resources to meet or exceed customer expectations. * Grow to increase scope of responsibilities. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. We need the candidate to have previous experience working with Electronics, Automotive or mechanical metal industry. Education and/or Experience: * Associates degree from University (Engineering or Administrative degree); or a minimum of 1 year of customer service or sales or a combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: * The individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Past experience with PC based order entry in ERP systems. English spoken.
