We serve various retail outlets and customers nationwide; therefore, we seek an operationally–strategic profile to ensure CEDIS efficiency, inventory control, and compliance with sanitary and service standards. ### **Position Objective** Manage, supervise, and optimize the Distribution Center’s integrated operations, ensuring proper **receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch** of food products while guaranteeing cold chain compliance, current sanitary regulations, team productivity, and agreed service levels with commercial departments and customers. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Supervise daily CEDIS operations: **receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping** of dry, refrigerated, and frozen products. * Ensure efficient use of storage space, maintaining optimal conditions of **temperature, organization, cleanliness, and inventory rotation (FIFO / FEFO)**. * Plan and execute **cyclical and physical inventories**, ensuring inventory accuracy and product traceability. * Guarantee compliance with **Good Storage Practices (GSP)**, **Good Transportation Practices (GTP)**, **Good Documentation Practices (GDP)**, and applicable **Mexican Official Standards (NOMs)** (NOM-059, NOM-072, NOM-241 SSA). * Coordinate with **procurement, logistics, sales, and planning** departments to ensure product availability and on-time delivery performance. * Lead and develop the CEDIS operational team (warehouse staff, forklift operators, coordinators), promoting operational discipline, productivity, and safety culture. * Define, monitor, and analyze **key performance indicators (KPIs)** such as: OTIF, Inbound, Outbound, Fill Rate, IRA, productivity, shrinkage, inventory turnover, and route compliance. * Coordinate and supervise **preventive and corrective maintenance programs** for facilities, refrigeration equipment, cold rooms, forklifts, and work tools. * Ensure compliance with **safety, hygiene, cleaning, and civil protection policies** within the CEDIS. * Manage and coordinate **internal and external audits**, including visits by **COFEPRIS, customers, and certification bodies** (ISO, TIF, or other applicable certifications). * Actively participate in **continuous improvement projects**, operational process optimization, and standardization of CEDIS procedures. **Required Profile** -------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in **Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration**, or related field. * **Minimum 5 years of experience** managing warehouses or CEDIS, preferably within food, FMCG, or logistics companies. * Proven experience handling the **cold chain** (refrigerated: 2°C to 8°C; frozen: -15°C to -25°C). * Solid knowledge of **inventory control, traceability, distribution logistics, and last-mile delivery**. * Practical knowledge and application of **sanitary NOMs**, GSP, GDP, and GTP. * Advanced **Excel** proficiency and experience with **WMS systems**. * Skills in **leadership, organization, data analysis, problem solving, and decision making**. * Results-oriented, organized, operationally disciplined, and committed to continuous improvement.
