Capacity: 1 ton)** **Job Objective:** The Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting the company’s products, materials, or goods to assigned destinations, adhering to scheduled timelines and traffic and road safety regulations. **Responsibilities:** * **Transportation of Products and/or Materials:** Transport products to assigned destinations following established routes. * **Loading and Unloading:** Load and unload materials and products, ensuring proper handling. * **Purchasing and Purchase Controls:** Carry out purchases for branch supplies and maintain internal controls for such purchases. * **Vehicle Maintenance:** Maintain the vehicle in optimal condition by performing inspections and reporting any malfunctions. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Comply with traffic and road safety regulations. * **Transport Documentation:** Verify transport documentation, ensuring its correct issuance and delivery. * **Customer Delivery:** Deliver products to customers, verifying documentation and obtaining proof-of-receipt signatures. * **Communication with Supervisor:** Report any incidents occurring during transportation to the supervisor. * **Vehicle Cleaning:** Keep the vehicle clean and orderly, both inside and outside. * **Cargo Safety:** Ensure proper cargo stowage and securing to prevent damage during transit. * **Mileage Reporting:** Record mileage traveled on each trip. **Requirements:** * Valid driver’s license. * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a driver. * Familiarity with local routes and areas. * Responsible and punctual. **Technical Competencies:** * Vehicle operation. * Basic vehicle maintenance. * Route knowledge. * Operation of loading and unloading equipment. **Skills:** * Safe and efficient driving. * Organization and time management. * Navigation and route knowledge. * Handling of transport and freight documentation.
