




Position Summary: We are seeking a creative Pastry Chef for our boutique hotel, responsible for crafting and plating signature desserts and fine pastries that meet high visual and flavor standards for international guests. Position Objective To create and plate signature desserts, fine pastries, and decorative elements that complement the hotel’s gastronomic offering, maintaining the highest visual and flavor standards for our international guests. Main Responsibilities * **Preparation and Plating:** Preparation of à la carte desserts, pastries for events, and plating for dinner service. * **Avant-Garde Decoration:** Application of decoration techniques (chocolatier work, confectionery, local fruit decorations) for high-end presentations. * **Recipe Management:** Standardization of processes to ensure consistency in flavor and portion size for each dessert. * **Hygienic Handling:** Strict temperature control and storage of dairy, eggs, and sugars (Distintivo H regulatory compliance). * **Inventory and Waste Control:** Daily monitoring of critical ingredient stock (chocolate, flours, fruits) and minimization of waste. * **Menu Creativity:** Proposing seasonal desserts utilizing endemic regional ingredients. Requirements * **Minimum Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Gastronomy or Technical Diploma in Pastry/Baking. * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in luxury hotels or specialty restaurants (Fine Dining). * **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in meringues, creams, coatings, glazes, and basic sweet bakery techniques. * **Profile:** Exceptional attention to detail, impeccable hygiene, creativity, and outstanding personal presentation. * **Preferred Age Range:** 20 to 45 years. Working Conditions * **Base Salary:** $12,000 MXN per month (bi-weekly payments on the 1st and 16th, provided they fall on business days). * **Housing:** Shared accommodation included for out-of-town staff. * **Meals:** Staff meals included according to shift schedule. * **Benefits:** Year-end bonus and vacation entitlements as stipulated by the Federal Labor Law. * **Healthcare:** Private medical services.
