Basic fault diagnosis skills and attention to detail. **PREVENTIVE MECHANIC (INJECTION MOLD MAINTENANCE)** **Job Objective** Ensure optimal operation of plastic injection machinery by performing scheduled preventive maintenance, reducing unplanned downtime, and extending equipment service life. Requirements: **Experience** * 3 years of preventive maintenance experience in the plastic manufacturing industry. * Experience with plastic injection machines (**Mandatory**). * Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment maintenance. **Education** * Technical degree in Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics, or related field. **Main Responsibilities** * \-Disassembly and reassembly of injection molds. * \-Deep cleaning of components (cavities, ejectors, plates). * \-Application of lubricants and anti-corrosion agents. * \-Inspection of ejection system (pins, plates, springs). * \-Inspection of cooling channels and detection of blockages. * \-Detection of wear on inserts, guides, and bushings. * \-Removal of flash or residual plastic. * \-Maintenance recordkeeping in logs. * \-Support for mold setters and process technicians. * \-Mold preparation for production. **Skills** * \-Attention to detail (critical for detecting minor faults). * \-Teamwork with production and mold setting departments. * \-Orderliness and cleanliness (5S). * \-Basic fault diagnosis. * \-Responsibility and discipline. * \-Ability to work under pressure.
