Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments **INJECTION MACHINE ADJUSTER** **Job Objective** Assemble, disassemble, adjust, and fine-tune molds on plastic injection machines to ensure proper equipment operation, product quality, and adherence to established production timelines. **Job Requirements** **Education:** * Technician in Machinery and Tools, Industrial Mechanics, or related field. **Experience:** * 3–4 years of experience adjusting plastic injection molds. * Experience in mold changeovers and production startups. **Technical Knowledge:** * Operation of injection machines. * Types of molds (cold runner, hot runner). * Basic interpretation of mechanical drawings. * Hydraulic and pneumatic systems. * Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers). * Industrial safety and lockout/tagout (LOTO). **Responsibilities** * Assemble and disassemble molds on injection machines. * Adjust and align molds according to technical specifications. * Connect hydraulic, pneumatic, and cooling systems. * Initiate production runs and release first parts in coordination with Quality. * Adjust basic machine parameters (pressure, temperature, cycle times). * Detect and correct faults during the injection process. * Perform basic preventive mold maintenance (cleaning, lubrication). * Report major failures to Maintenance. * Comply with industrial safety standards. * Support rapid mold changeover (SMED, if applicable).
