Job Summary: This role manages transportation and operators to ensure product delivery in terms of cost, safety, quality, and timeliness, maximizing profitability. Key Responsibilities: 1. Transportation planning and operator management. 2. Ensuring profitable and safe product delivery. 3. Resolving customer service requirements. Plans, controls, and manages transportation and operators—both in-house and third-party—to guarantee timely, safe, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery of customers’ goods, ensuring maximum company profitability. Additionally ensures proper maintenance of transport equipment and compliance with legal requirements for equipment movement through communication and controls. Provides solutions to emerging service requirements from both new and existing customers. * Formal Education: Completed higher education (Bachelor’s degree), preferably in Logistics, Transportation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, International Logistics, International Trade, or Industrial Administration. * Experience: Minimum 5 years as Traffic Manager or in a similar position, with knowledge of routes, fuel consumption, basic maintenance of tractors and trailers, transport efficiency and safety, productive work models and best practices, fleet administration and procurement, transportation tracking and monitoring technologies, and administration of administrative, operational, and fifth-wheel operator personnel. Strong operational management knowledge.
