Position: Purchasing and Inventory Management Assistant Responsibilities: • Sourcing quotations for requested products and services. • Generating periodic purchase orders based on stock levels or special requests. • Tracking each purchase request and scheduling payments to avoid delays in delivery timelines and due dates. • Receiving, controlling, and validating supplier invoices, evaluating costs, prices, and quantities of parts. • Strengthening inventory records with item descriptions, verifying costs, prices, and stock levels. • Identifying and measuring material turnover rates and proposing improvements to these metrics. • Collaborating with the warehouse to update inventory stock levels. • Researching and identifying new market opportunities. • Conducting commercial interactions with suppliers. • Knowledge of invoicing and basic accounting principles. • Managing and updating purchasing files. • Reviewing and updating the Mercado Libre catalog. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business, Logistics, or related fields. • One year of experience in purchasing or administration. • Knowledge of procurement and inventory control systems. • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
