




Job Summary: This role involves end-to-end inventory management—from determining reorder points and selecting suppliers to receiving, verifying, organizing, and controlling outgoing goods. Key Responsibilities: 1. End-to-end inventory and logistics management 2. Supplier negotiation and evaluation 3. Quality control and goods verification * **Reorder Point Determination:** Define the minimum stock level that triggers a new purchase (to avoid stockouts). * **Supplier Selection and Evaluation:** Identify options offering the best balance of quality, price, and delivery time. * **Purchase Order Issuance:** Generate formal documents to request goods, ensuring they are authorized by management. * **Order Tracking:** Follow up with suppliers to ensure adherence to agreed delivery dates (to prevent shortages). * **Credit Negotiation:** Manage payment terms and volume discounts with regular suppliers. * **Receiving and Verification:** Physically receive goods, cross-check against invoices and purchase orders, and verify compliance with agreed quality standards (damaged or incomplete shipments are rejected). * **Organization and Storage:** Classify and store materials according to safety and accessibility criteria (using shelving, barcodes, or labels). * **Outbound Control:** Record every material movement to ensure no item leaves without authorization. * **FIFO Method:** Implement the **First-In, First-Out** system (particularly critical for IMSS clinic supplies or perishables). * **Inventory Counts:** Conduct cyclical counts (weekly) and comprehensive counts (monthly/annual) to ensure system stock levels match physical inventory.
