Ready to be part of the change? ***Payment and Cost Control Coordinator*** **Job Mission:** Support the management and control of payments for Mayakan Energy Expansion (AEM), as well as the solped and solfon processes. Manage Mayakan’s budgetary control, identifying variances and their explanations. Support the preparation of the budget and best estimate. Identify and request provisions and track them. Ensure correct cost/expense allocation to the corresponding PEPs/CeCos. Among the responsibilities of the Payment and Cost Control Coordinator is supporting the preparation of monthly supporting documentation required by the client for cost reconciliation. Likewise, support the preparation of documents to be presented at various committees with the partner and internal reports to ENGIE Corporate. **Your Impact:** As a ***Payment and Cost Control Coordinator***, you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to our mission, playing a key role in: 1. Managing AEM payments, preparing payment proposals, and ensuring that corresponding payment receipts are available. 2. Responsible for provisions—from requesting supporting documents from users to raising the accounting ticket to record the cost in the month’s accounting. Track provision reversals once costs are received. 3. Supporting EMYK’s budgetary control, reporting and explaining each variance identified, as well as reporting budget progress. 4. Responsible for cost management, budget preparation, and best estimate preparation, using information obtained from relevant teams. Ensure correct allocation of each cost/expense. 5. Collaborate with the FP&A team by providing necessary information to report monthly financial results to the Group, as well as preparing information according to project and/or stakeholder needs. 6. Monitor the project’s expense policy and keep it updated according to project needs and identified improvements. **COMPETENCIES:** Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Finance, or Engineering 3–4 years of experience in payment control and cost management, preferably including financial cost control for operations and/or large-scale construction projects. Sector experience preferred.
