Join us and bring out the best in you at Grupo Planeta! ***COPYRIGHT ANALYST AND CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION*** Objective: To draft, negotiate, and execute legal instruments—including contracts—pertaining to content developed by the company across its various formats, as well as to carry out, monitor, and analyze the resulting administrative operations. **Your role will include:** * Reviewing and drafting contracts, amendment agreements, and assignments related to usage licenses, literary translation, audiovisual adaptations, theatrical works, video games, and other rights exploitations. * Invoicing for rights sales and monitoring the accounts receivable portfolio. * Processing and making royalty payments to subsidiaries, authors, agencies, co-agencies, and sub-agencies. * Requesting, reviewing, and preparing royalty reports, including their distribution to authors. * Administrative control and system-based registration of subsidiary rights contracts. **What we offer:** * Base salary * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements * Job stability and direct employment contract with the company * Discounts across our extensive publishing catalog * Job location: Polanco, CDMX (On-site) **What we’re looking for in you:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Law. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in roles such as Legal Analyst or similar positions in copyright, performing duties including: + Legal review of contracts and royalties + Drafting contracts in Spanish and English + Administrative control of contracts and payments + Accounts receivable portfolio management + Royalty calculation (preferred) + Numerical analysis (calculations, data, etc.) * Knowledge of: + Advanced English + Excel (pivot tables, filters) + Word (Word\-Excel correspondence) **To succeed in this position, you’ll need:** * Teamwork * Planning and organization * Stress tolerance * Service orientation
