HOSPITAL AMERIMED MERIDA, a leading healthcare services institution, is seeking an ANALYTICAL CHEMIST, who will be responsible for performing clinical and laboratory analyses with precision, ensuring the quality and reliability of results for medical care. ✅ Profile Requirements: * Completed bachelor's degree with title and professional license - Biological Chemist, Clinical Chemist or related field. * Proven experience as an analytical chemist in clinical and/or laboratory analysis. * Knowledge of laboratory techniques, handling of reagents, and specialized equipment. * Basic knowledge of blood banks. * Proven experience in hospital clinical laboratory (6 months). * Familiarity with biosafety regulations and good laboratory practices (GLP). * Proficiency in laboratory information systems (LIS) and result recording tools. * Ability to interpret clinical results and prepare reports. * ️Main Responsibilities: * Perform clinical, biochemical, and hematological analyses according to established procedures. * Ensure proper collection, identification, and handling of biological samples. * Verify the quality and accuracy of laboratory test results. * Collection and gathering of samples. * Participate in external quality control programs. * Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure proper operation. * Comply with biosafety protocols and clinical waste management procedures. * Record results in laboratory information systems (LIS). * Assist in preparing reports and documentation required for internal and external audits. * Collaborate with medical staff in interpreting results when necessary.
