A retail company with an upcoming opening in Mérida, Yucatán, is seeking an Operations and Logistics Manager to lead a new CEDIS (Distribution Center) commencing operations in Mérida. This is a key position to build the leadership team for the region. **Requirements:** * **8–12 years of experience** in operational roles. * Minimum of **5 years** in national or regional leadership positions. * Experience managing **multi-site operations** in Mexico. * Proven track record in **process optimization and cost reduction**. * Experience in **scaling operations** and change management. * Experience in unionized environments or high-turnover settings is desirable. * **Technical Knowledge** * Operational and financial KPIs. * Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement. * Inventory and supply chain management. * ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar). * Labor legislation and STPS regulations. * Safety, quality, and compliance. * Advanced Excel / data analysis. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, implement, and execute the **national operational strategy**, aligned with the business plan. * Oversee operations related to **production, logistics, distribution, service, or supply chain**, depending on the business scope. * Ensure achievement of **operational KPIs**: productivity, costs, OTIF (On-Time In-Full), efficiency, quality, and safety. * Lead **continuous improvement, lean, six sigma, or operational transformation** projects. * Optimize the operational structure and manage **budget, OPEX, and CAPEX**. * Ensure compliance with **legal, labor, safety, and hygiene regulations** (STPS). * Manage strategic suppliers, contracts, and service-level agreements. * Coordinate operations with Sales, Finance, HR, and IT departments. * Implement technological tools (ERP, WMS, TMS, MES). * Develop and strengthen high-performance teams and succession plans. **Offered:** * Salary negotiable between MXN $60,000–$80,000/month or higher, based on experience. * Statutory benefits. * Job stability and ongoing training. * Excellent company with international strength.
