It operates in all states of the country, employs over 118,000 people, and ranks among the **top 10 employers in the United Mexican States.** It comprises three business units: Coppel Stores, Afore Coppel, and BanCoppel. **Job Objective:** * Conduct audits and reviews of processes, operations, and accounting and administrative records. * Evaluate the internal control system and propose improvements to mitigate risks. * Identify irregularities, fraud, or deviations from policy compliance. * Prepare detailed reports of findings, observations, and recommendations. * Follow up on the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. * Advise various organizational departments on control and compliance matters. * Participate in developing and updating internal procedure manuals and regulations. * Collaborate in special investigations when required. * Stay updated on best practices in internal audit and relevant regulations. **Job Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. (Preferred) Master’s degree or specialization in Auditing, Internal Control, Finance, or related areas. * Minimum 1 year of experience in similar roles in internal auditing, internal control, or management control. * Experience using auditing tools and data analysis software. * Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). * International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) or equivalent standards. * COSO Framework. * Applicable legislation for the sector (financial, public, etc., as relevant). * Risk analysis and fraud detection. * Proficiency with accounting and management software (ERP). **Skills and Competencies:** * Analytical and synthetic ability. * Critical thinking. * Attention to detail. * Objectivity and impartiality. * Integrity and professional ethics. * Oral and written communication skills. * Teamwork and collaboration. * Proactivity and problem-solving skills. * Confidentiality. **Availability** * Full schedule flexibility, including weekends and holidays.
