Opportunity to influence the company’s strategic decisions. **GENERAL ACCOUNTANT** **Overall Job Objective** Lead, supervise, and execute the company’s general accounting function, ensuring timely fulfillment of tax, labor, and financial obligations, and providing reliable information for strategic decision-making. **Key Responsibilities** *General Accounting* * Recording and supervision of journal entries (general journal, revenue, and expense entries). * Monthly bank reconciliations. * Cleansing, analysis, and consolidation of accounting accounts. * Supervision of accurate recording in CONTPAQi. * Control and administration of XML files. * Cross-checking SAT vs CONTPAQi vs SAE. * Preparation and analysis of financial statements. * Preparation of Cost of Goods Sold Statement. * Monthly and annual financial closings. *Tax Compliance* * Preparation and filing of: * Federal tax returns. * State tax returns. * DIOT (Digital Information Return on Operations with Third Parties). * Determination and calculation of Income Tax (ISR) and Value-Added Tax (IVA). * Responding to SAT inquiries and requirements. * Continuous updating on the Income Tax Law (LISR), Value-Added Tax Law (LIVA), and Tax Code. * Compliance with obligations before IMSS and INFONAVIT. *Payroll and Social Security* * Biweekly payroll calculation. * Operation of CONTPAQ Payroll software. * Calculation and application of: * IMSS contributions. * Unemployment and Retirement contributions. * INFONAVIT contributions. * Income Tax (ISR). * Operation of SUA (Unified Affiliation System). * Operation of IDSE (Electronic Declaration of Social Security Contributions). * Monthly contribution filings. * Tracking of labor incidents. *Human Resources (Administrative)* * Document control of personnel files. * Supervision of employment contracts. * Management of employee enrollments and terminations with IMSS. * Support in labor compliance. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Timely delivery of financial closings. * Zero tax penalties or surcharges. * Bank reconciliations with no discrepancies. * Timely payroll processing. * Accuracy in tax calculations. * Level of tax contingencies. * Legal tax optimization. **Academic and Professional Profile** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (mandatory). * Annual tax law updates preferred. * Minimum experience: 5 years in general accounting. * Demonstrable experience in comprehensive tax and payroll management. **Technical Competencies** * Advanced proficiency in CONTPAQi Accounting software. * Proficiency in CONTPAQ Payroll software. * Proficiency in SAE software. * Intermediate/advanced Excel skills. * Up-to-date knowledge of: * Income Tax Law (LISR). * Value-Added Tax Law (LIVA). * IMSS regulations. * INFONAVIT regulations. * Financial interpretation. * Preparation of financial statements. * Cost analysis. **Behavioral Competencies** * High level of professional ethics. * Prudence and absolute confidentiality. * Analytical thinking. * Structured organization. * Ability to work under pressure (tax closings). * Compliance-oriented mindset. * Capacity to advise senior management. * Technical leadership. **Employment Offer** * Starting salary: $16,000 * Statutory benefits. * Job stability. * Excellent working environment. * Professional growth opportunities.
