Job Description and Responsibilities **Knowledge**: * Interpretation of mechanical drawings. * Cutting tools, polishing tools, and mechanical hand tools. * Use of CAD/CAM software (Mastercam). * Machining procedures for fixture fabrication. * Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (current revision). * SolidWorks would be a plus. * GD&T **Skills**: * Operation of conventional and CNC machinery (lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.). * Teamwork. * Service-oriented. * Innovative / Creative. * Ability to work under pressure with a results-driven focus. **Responsibilities**: * Perform and coordinate preventive maintenance on plastic and silicone injection molds. * Fabricate auxiliary equipment to support production areas. * Flexible working hours (including possible night shifts). * Positive attitude. Experience and Requirements **Education**: * Technical degree (Machine Tools, Industrial Maintenance). **Experience**: * Minimum 7 years of verifiable experience in a similar position. * Blueprint interpretation. * Advanced mechanical aptitude. * Solid metrology knowledge. * Application of shop mathematics. * Basic trigonometry application. * Openness to teamwork. * Effective communication skills. * Strong organizational skills, proactive and self-directed. * Mechanical reasoning ability. * Knowledge of mechanical device operation (cams, racks, gears, etc.). * Understanding of hot runner systems. * Extensive knowledge of mold welding applications (TIG, micro-welding, laser welding). * Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic device operation (cylinders). * Familiarity with bead blasting and sand blasting usage and application. * Advanced proficiency in operating CNC equipment including: *Lathe, Milling Machine, Grinder, Sinker EDM. * Advanced proficiency in operating CNC equipment including: *VMC, W-EDM, S-EDM, H-CNC Lathe, Surface Grinder.
