Description and details of activities * Receives shift handover to understand pending tasks and provide proper follow-up. * Executes assigned Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Plan tasks and verifies those performed by assigned personnel. * Verifies the effective execution of the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Plan. * Provides expertise and knowledge in diagnosing and solving mold and hot runner failures. * Major mold repairs, fabrication of cavities and cores, creation of fixtures, as well as mold insert replacements. * Manufacturing mold components using conventional machines. * Conducts comprehensive mold analysis and suggests major modifications. * Interprets engineering mold drawings to fabricate new cavities. * Suggests solutions to problems to improve molding operations and recommends specification changes for improvement. * Responsible for delivering work orders on time. * Diagnoses and corrects malfunctions in machinery and auxiliary equipment. * Supports, performs, and/or coordinates any work-related activity requested by the immediate supervisor due to company needs. * Responsible for submitting daily task progress reports. * Complies with necessary safety measures to prevent accidents, occupational illnesses, and environmental emergencies in the company. * Reports unsafe acts, conditions, and environmental risks observed in any area of the company. * Complies with environmental measures established in the company's Internal Work Regulations. * Maintains a safe working area by complying with established safety policies and standards. * Stays updated and attends any course or seminar assigned or authorized for career development. * Maintains order and cleanliness in the work area consistently by applying 5S principles. * Maintains and contributes to improving production standards. Experience and Requirements **Minimum Requirements** * Technical degree/High school diploma * 7 years of experience in mold repair and fabrication * Operation of conventional and NC machines * SolidWorks, MasterCam * CNC MILL, EDM, and WIRE * Experience in a similar position. * Advanced-level reading and comprehension of mechanical drawings. * Commitment to service and teamwork orientation. **Additional Knowledge** * Measurement equipment * Handling of hazardous materials and waste.
