Position Objective: Efficiently manage and coordinate the import and export operations of goods, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, international treaties, and internal processes, to guarantee on-time deliveries, minimize logistics costs, and reduce legal or tax risks. Key Responsibilities: * Coordinate and execute import and export operations, including customs documentation, permits, and logistics. * Maintain active communication with customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and international customers. * Manage customs entries, certificates of origin, commercial invoices, BLs, and other necessary documents. * Verify that all operations comply with current legislation (SAT, IMMEX, NOMs, etc.). * Monitor transit times and ensure timely release of cargo without delays. * Control temporary or in-transit inventories and ensure their accurate system entry/exits. * Stay updated on customs regulations, trade agreements (USMCA, FTAs), and tariffs. * Prepare performance indicators and logistics cost reports. Candidate Profile: Education: Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, or related field. Experience: Minimum 2 years in similar roles within industrial or manufacturing companies. Knowledge: * Mexican Customs Law and trade agreements (USMCA, EFTA, etc.) * Programs such as IMMEX, PROSEC, OEA * NOM regulations and certifications (FSC, ISO, etc.) * Knowledge of Incoterms and tariff classifications * Intermediate to advanced English (required) Skills: * Attention to detail and regulatory compliance * Problem management and resolution * Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with multiple departments * Negotiation with suppliers and logistics providers * Organization and planning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): * Regulatory compliance rate (zero fines or errors) * Average logistics cost per operation * Document accuracy (customs entries, invoices, permits) * Total import/export cycle time Job Type: Full-time Work Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * 10-hour shifts Language: * English (Mandatory) Work Location: On-site Job Type: Full-time Salary: $4,500.00 - $5,000.00 per week Work Location: On-site
