Position Summary: We seek a systems professional to organize, coordinate, and supervise technical support, network administration, and university technological infrastructure management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coordination and supervision of university technical support. 2. Database and information network administration. 3. Management of hardware, software, and audiovisual equipment. Educational Requirement: Completed undergraduate degree Field of Study: Computer Systems Engineering; Computer Science; Computational Sciences; Computer Engineering; or related field. Experience: Three years Minimum Age: 25 years old. Job Functions: * Organize and coordinate the technical support required by the administrative units comprising the university. * Supervise and manage awareness initiatives promoting efficient use of equipment, as well as development or enhancement of digital competencies for using required applications or technologies. * Organize and coordinate the technical support required by faculty and students across various institutional technological applications and services, ensuring their optimal operation. * Coordinate the installation of computing equipment required by work units. * Coordinate necessary software and hardware maintenance for the university, ensuring optimal functionality. * Ensure timely analysis of operational issues affecting tools or computing equipment used by institutional units. * Administer databases for applications and IT platforms, ensuring continuous backup of information entered into them. * Coordinate installation and configuration of audiovisual equipment required for diverse academic, cultural, and recreational events. * Coordinate timely follow-up to address requirements concerning equipment and technological infrastructure from Administrative and Academic Units. * Administer networks, computing equipment and devices, and telecommunications systems, controlling assignment of custody and inventory management. Technical Competencies: * Knowledge and application of information technology principles. * Knowledge and application of technical support principles. * Application of document management tools. * Operation of computerized tools and computing equipment. * Application of quality management tools and techniques. * Application of knowledge regarding data and information network administration. * Application of knowledge regarding systems development.
