Our client is a provider of medical device customer service and inventory operations with cutting\-edge AI to create operational workflows. **Apply Now** REQUIREMENTS * 6 years of relevant experience with backend or platform experience in user facing distributed applications on the public facing internet, including experience with: * TypeScript; * AWS (or similar public cloud experience); * Node.js (or similar such as Deno); * Building RESTful APIs (or GraphQL); * Infrastructure as Code (basic experience with Terraform); * PostgreSQL (or similar RDBMS); * Reviewing code of peers. * Experience working on critical software and platforms where usability and reliability are basic requirements. * Understanding of how compliance and/or business requirements affect all aspects of delivering software (HIPAA experience not required but a plus). * Knowledge of the power and pitfalls of distributed software; * Experience using LLMs and coding agents (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex). Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders. * RESPONSIBILITIES * Build backend software. * Leverage platform thinking. * Own projects and outcomes. * Take basic DevOps responsibilities shared with the CTO and VP of Engineering.
