Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with current regulations, policies, and procedures, operating in accordance with investment and/or withdrawal instructions received from the Trust Treasury Manager, and properly executing investment and/or withdrawal transactions based on the trust's investment policy and/or instruction letters issued to the trustee. Perform necessary coordination with various financial and/or securities intermediaries.** **Responsibilities:** * **Handle and follow up on investment and/or withdrawal transaction instructions sent by the Trust Treasury Manager, as well as ensure timely confirmation of transactions and their accurate recording in the Scotiafid system.** * **Timely request and manage investments and/or withdrawals from Trusts in strict adherence to each trust agreement's investment policies and/or instruction letters issued by the settlors, coordinating with different securities intermediaries to obtain optimal market conditions for each instrument, benefiting our clients and ensuring transactions are executed according to received instructions.** * **Accurately and promptly generate reports related to investment portfolios for each trust agreement with various brokerage firms; ensure prompt and accurate responses to clarifications requested by Trust Liaison Executives.** * **Review and manage the interface between the Scotiafid, Sibur, and ScotiaPro–EIAP systems, performing analysis to identify root causes of discrepancies and/or overdrafts, and manually record remediation entries in the ScotiaFid system to ensure data integrity in client trust account statements.** * **Promptly carry out the process of loading market price files provided by the contracted pricing vendor (VALMER) for valuation of investment portfolios under each intermediation agreement within each trust, as well as those generated via macros based on information from various securities intermediaries in U.S. dollars.** * **Ensure the annual update of Policies and Procedures governing processes managed by the Trust Treasury Department so they remain aligned with operational requirements.** **Experience:** * **Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.** * **Experience in Trust Services and Financial/Securities Markets.** * **Specific knowledge of Trust regulations, General Law of Securities and Credit Transactions, circulars, and other applicable laws.** * **Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management.** **We Offer:** * **Indefinite direct contract through the bank.** * **Competitive salary** * **Benefits exceeding statutory requirements.** * **Growth opportunities** * **On-site work arrangement** **Work Location: Lorenzo Boturini** **\*\*Scotiabank is an inclusive company that respects diversity and does not engage in any form of discrimination\*\*** **\*\*Under no circumstances does it require pregnancy or HIV tests\*\*** **At Scotiabank, we value the unique skills and experiences each person brings to the bank and are committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive and accessible environment for everyone.
