Position Summary: We are seeking a Technical Cutting Optimization Engineer with experience in manufacturing and CNC, responsible for technical project release, material optimization, and document control to prevent errors. We are looking for a **Technical Cutting Optimization Engineer** with experience in manufacturing, CNC, material optimization, and technical project release. **Location:** Belenes Norte, Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico **Industry:** Solid surfaces, quartz, granite, porcelain, and specialized manufacturing Position Objective: Ensure every project is correctly released for cutting through material optimization, CNC file generation, technical validation, and document control—avoiding errors, waste, and rework. **Key Responsibilities:** * Review and validate technical LOs from Zoho Projects * Optimize part nesting and material yield * Generate and validate CNC cutting files * Calculate material consumption and waste * Perform technical release of projects for cutting * Coordinate material packages and cutting priorities * Manage cut-offs, leftovers, and technical inventory * Document processes and evidence in **Zoho Projects** * Coordinate with technical design, operations, and quality teams **Requirements:** * Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field * 3–5 years of experience in CNC, manufacturing, stone fabrication, carpentry, or similar processes * Familiarity with Zoho Projects * Proficiency in **AutoCAD, Rhino, VCarve, nesting software, and DXF** * Experience in material and cutting process optimization * Advanced blueprint reading and manufacturing judgment * Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills and document control proficiency **We are looking for someone who has:** ✔ Logical and technical thinking ✔ High level of organization ✔ Extreme attention to detail ✔ Technical leadership and follow-up capability ✔ Ability to prevent errors before manufacturing ✔ Judgment to halt incomplete releases $18,000 to $25,000 MXN monthly net (May exceed this range based on CNC expertise, advanced programming, premium surface experience, or technical leadership) Interested candidates should submit CV and experience in manufacturing or CNC cutting projects.
