Design and construct test equipment and fixtures **Your Job**Join our team as a Test Engineer in Guadalajara, where you will play a key role in supporting and developing the test area to ensure operational continuity, efficiency, and technical excellence. In this role, you will directly contribute to keeping production lines running, troubleshooting issues, and driving improvements through data\-driven analysis and technical expertise. **Our Team** You will be part of the DSS division, collaborating closely with cross\-functional departments to align tester performance, address failures, and maintain world\-class testing standards. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational reliability. **What You Will Do** * Design and construction of fixture and/or test equipment. * Perform analysis and repair of test equipment, looking for the root cause of the problem and prevent the problem from being endemic. * Design and document maintenance plans according to the scheduled schedule. * Analysis of statistical data with different tools, to find root causes of yield affect in test equipment. * Review and maintenance of KPIs within the established limits. * Lead with people in charge, administration and control of personnel. * Lead and/or integrate conferences with different divisions and/or areas. * Interpretation of schematics. * Programming in any language * Design and development of SOW. **Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)** * Experience in the area of testing. * Experience in management of Functional and ICT teams. * Conversational level of English. * Ability to handle instruments for electronics. * Knowledge and management of equipment or vision system. * Knowledge of design software (PCBs, Orcad etc). * Skills to lead, quote, manage new projects and products. * Knowledge in the implementation of changes from Engineering to test equipment. * Ability to manage software and/or firmware. * Monitoring and execution of pilot runs. * Use and Understanding of Statistical Data for Test Equipment Troubleshooting.
