Position Summary: We are seeking an active laboratory student to support Water Treatment Plant operations by conducting basic analyses and sample preparation. Key Highlights: 1. Use and handling of laboratory equipment and instruments **LABORATORY INTERN FOR WTP** Field of Study: Laboratory Technician or related field (ACTIVE STUDENT) An active student is required to support the laboratory of our company, which specializes in Water Treatment Plant operations. Responsibilities: * Verification of receipt and preparation of composite samples. * Conducting basic analyses such as pH measurement, conductivity, temperature, titrations, and colorimetric tests, among others, in accordance with established procedures and involving low risk and minimal exposure. * Supporting material preparation, including specific washing, taring of materials to constant weight, and preparation of working solutions. * Use and handling of laboratory equipment and instruments, reporting any discrepancies. * Supporting pre-treatment of samples for analyses in areas such as titrations, colorimetric tests, potentiometric tests, etc., under the supervision of the laboratory assistant and/or Laboratory Manager. * Updating applicable logs within the laboratory’s corresponding management system. Skills: * Analytical techniques and laboratory equipment handling * Handling of chemical products * Regulatory knowledge * Orderliness, cleanliness, 5S methodology * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Hiring is conducted through COPARMEX, offering a monthly scholarship of $8,400 MXN plus accident insurance.
