





**Join FRIMAX CARROCERÍAS as a Process Engineer!** **Location:** Tlaquepaque, Jalisco **Company:** FRIMAX CARROCERÍAS **Your mission** You will be responsible for **defining, measuring, and improving manufacturing processes** at FRIMAX, aiming to optimize **physical workforce performance**, **utilization of machinery and tools**, and maintain processes that are **simple, efficient, and standardized**. Your work will be key to keeping FRIMAX at the forefront of **mechanical metalworking and manufacturing** processes. **Main responsibilities** * Manage and keep updated: * The **overall plant layout**. * The **spaghetti flow diagrams**. * The **time studies, motion studies, and line balancing**. * Calculate and communicate the **takt time** to production to achieve proper balancing for each operation. * Develop and update **process manuals** and the **Value Stream Process Map**. * **Continuously train** operational staff on approved processes. * Coordinate **Gemba walks** to identify improvement opportunities. * Develop projects in: * **Mechanical improvement:** acquisition of machinery that reduces processing times. * **Operational improvement:** optimization of workstations. * **Process improvement:** implementation of efficient and effective manufacturing techniques. * Design and maintain updated **workstation layouts**, optimizing space and movement. **Requirements** * **Education:** Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or Mechatronic Engineering (degree required). * **Experience:** * 2 to 3 years as a **Process Engineer**, **Quality Engineer**, or **Production Supervisor**. * **Industry:** Preferably **metal-mechanical**. **Knowledge and skills** * **AutoCAD:** intermediate level (required). * **SolidWorks:** basic level (desirable). * **Minitab:** desirable, not required. * Knowledge of **Lean Manufacturing** and **Six Sigma** (certification desirable). * **Process development and documentation.** * **Effective communication and participative leadership.** * **Organization, creativity, and innovation.** * Ability to **implement, monitor, and develop improvement projects.** * **Vision towards automation** and continuous improvement.
