Important food industry company seeking for expansion Production Supervisors Age: 25 to 48 years Experience: 1 to 3 years in the food and/or pharmaceutical industry (desirable) Technical and/or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, or Industrial Engineering Availability to work rotating shifts Easy access to El Salto industrial park. * 1. Receive manufacturing orders from the Production Manager and organize production to obtain finished products within standards. * 2. General control and order throughout the entire plant. * 3. Participate in startup and shift change checklist walkthroughs and complete the records. * 4. Coordinate production activities with assigned operators. * 5. Participate in production planning meetings and announcements of changes. * 6. Coordinate cleaning activities together with the cleaning and sanitation supervisor to keep assigned areas clean and organized. * 7. Perform required operational tasks in maintenance programs for modules and production lines to preserve equipment and perform updates. * 8. Sign logs and checklists. * 9. Send the shift minutes by email. * 10. Responsible for authorizing operator absences and monitoring attendance. * 11. Meet productivity targets. * 12. Promote a healthy work environment within their area and with other departments. * 13. Report equipment failures or request facility improvements to the Maintenance Supervisor and Plant Manager. * 14. Verify that personnel comply with GMP and report non-compliance. * 15. Inspect cleaning and sanitization of areas and equipment for allergen control and cross-contamination prevention. * 16. Assist if necessary during Recall exercises and/or processes. * 17. Assist in various activities when there is no production in their area, including cleaning and maintenance under proper supervision. * 18. In emergency situations, assist the Safety Manager in following procedures. * 19. Communicate with Human Resources to report incidents. * 20. Coordinate schedules for the cafeteria. * 21. Complete required forms. * 22. Comply with product quality plans during processing and final product stages. * 23. Supervise cleaning activities in production areas.
