Pallet manufacturing company is seeking a person with experience in supplier sourcing. **Position Objective** Ensure timely and efficient supply of pallets by identifying, evaluating, and developing reliable suppliers who meet the company's quality, cost, and time requirements. Position Requirements: 1. Technical degree, incomplete higher education, or relevant experience in the field. 2. Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial purchasing or procurement (preferably in the timber, pallets, packaging, or construction industries). 3. Experience negotiating with domestic suppliers. 4. Strong communication skills. 5. Proactive individual with high initiative. Position Responsibilities: * **Search and select new suppliers** for lumber, nails, packaging materials, transportation services, and others. * **Negotiate delivery times**, always seeking the best cost-benefit ratio. * **Evaluate and compare quotations** based on quality, price, lead times, and compliance. * **Maintain an updated supplier database** * **Monitor supplier performance** (compliance, quality, after-sales service). * **Identify local or regional sourcing alternatives** to optimize logistics costs. * **Collaborate with production and quality teams** to resolve material incidents or rejections. * **Support cost-saving strategies and continuous improvement** within the supply chain.
