We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD, primarily for gas, electrical installations, and other specialized systems. The drafter will work closely with engineers and other design professionals to ensure that drawings meet project specifications and industry standards. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Drawing Creation and Modification:** * Develop detailed drawings for gas, electrical, and other specialized installations based on sketches, specifications, and engineering calculations. * Modify and update existing drawings according to project revisions and changes. * Ensure accuracy and consistency of all technical drawings. * **Collaboration and Communication:** * Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to understand project requirements. * Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues and ensure clarity in drawings. * **Standards and Regulations:** * Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and applicable safety regulations. * Stay updated on the latest versions of AutoCAD and best practices in technical drawing. * **Documentation and File Management:** * Organize and maintain drawing files efficiently. * Document all changes and revisions made to drawings. * Prepare material lists and other documents related to drawings. **Requirements:** * Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter, preferably in gas, electrical, or similar installation projects. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and other technical drawing software. * Knowledge of industry standards and building codes related to installations. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Strong attention to detail and precision in work. * MicroStation knowledge is desirable. **Desired Skills:** * Familiarity with other design software (e.g., Revit, MicroStation, ArcGIS, SolidWorks). * Experience using document management systems. **Soft Skills:** * Teamwork. * Effective communication. * Organization and time management. * Problem-solving. * Adaptability. **Education:** * Technical or higher education degree in technical drawing, computer-aided design (CAD), or a related field.
