This role requires deep expertise in software and infrastructure engineering, hands\-on problem solving and a strong background in building scalable systems. **Responsibilities** * Lead the design and validation of solution options for complex engineering challenges * Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and lifelong learning * Guide teams in designing tests to validate assumptions and tradeoffs * Model positive, solution\-oriented attitudes and effective communication * Oversee the development of scalable, distributed and secure solutions in cloud environments such as Azure * Ensure the operation of critical, enterprise\-hardened production systems with a focus on observability and incident response * Direct the implementation of test automation strategies for complex and distributed systems * Apply expertise in design patterns, Domain Driven Design and microservices architecture * Advise on the use of distributed caching, event\-driven and streaming frameworks * Support the selection and integration of both relational and non\-relational data stores * Participate in multiple large and complex projects simultaneously **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems or related work experience * Extensive experience (7\+ years) in software and infrastructure engineering * Deep understanding of full stack delivery and operation of software * Proficiency in Java or JavaScript and fluency in multiple programming languages and development stacks * Expertise in test automation, including code\-level unit and integration tests * Knowledge of operating critical production systems and observability practices * Background in designing and building solutions in cloud environments such as Azure * Skills in design patterns, Domain Driven Design and microservices * Familiarity with distributed caching, event\-driven and streaming frameworks * Competency in both relational and non\-relational data stores * Capability to multitask and contribute to multiple large\-scale projects
