Participation in failure diagnostics and technical support **Business Unit:** Latin America Operations **Location:** Boca del Rio, MX, 94290 **Travel:** None **Req ID:** 3710 Mechanics **Summary** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on equipment/components according to the scope defined in the governing document. **Principle Responsibilities and Duties** Coordinate, execute, and monitor preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment. * Disassemble and reassemble mechanical equipment when supporting the overhaul workshop. Request materials and spare parts required for preventive and corrective maintenance of assigned equipment from the supervisor and track their delivery, using manufacturer manuals as the basis. Read and interpret piping diagrams and layouts. Promptly attend to and resolve corrective maintenance tasks with full-time availability. Coordinate and execute follow-up actions based on predictive analysis recommendations for mechanical equipment. Provide appropriate feedback. Conduct on-site inspections and evaluations to ensure order, cleanliness, and optimal condition of tools and equipment. Participate in failure diagnostics and facilitate the formation of work teams for ACR (Action Corrective Report) development. Participate in training programs, and support and promote the training and development of junior technical personnel. Collaborate with the maintenance supervisor in developing and implementing maintenance programs, procedures, protocols, and record-keeping forms. Prepare technical reports and assessments when requested, and provide technical support to Maintenance and Operations departments. Actively contribute to installation projects by providing technical and supervisory support, and participate in risk analyses and root cause analyses (RCA). Maintain communication with supervisors across various departments to identify service requirements and support action plans.
