Position Summary: Venkel Cargo is seeking a Customs Operations Assistant to manage Article 23 documents and terminal entry appointments, contributing to the global supply chain. Key Highlights: 1. As an organization in constant evolution, we seek professional talent to strengthen our foundation and support our vision of international growth.* **Customs Operations Assistant** **Venkel Customs** *What will you do in this role?* Generate Article 23 documents along with their corresponding terminal entry appointments for export operations at the Port of Veracruz, under prior instruction and coordination with Account Executives handling clients exporting through the Port of Veracruz. *Requirements:* * Knowledge of administrative procedures for generating maneuvers and appointments via terminal portals. * Theoretical knowledge of foreign trade and customs matters. * Experience in operational processes related to pre-clearance, export release, and port-related operational procedures. *Responsibilities:* * Preparation of Article 23 documents via terminal portals. * Scheduling of export terminal entry appointments via terminal portals. * Generation of the maneuver set and notification to the transport carrier. * Uploading of Article 23 documents into the system. * Entering operation information into the internal control report. * Monitoring scheduled appointments’ entry status and receipt of tax folio numbers. * Coordination and follow-up on non-entries and appointment changes requested by the carrier, client, and/or ECE.
