**Residential Condominium Security Guard** **General Information** * **Position:** Security Guard / Security Officer * **Area:** Security and Access Control * **Reports to:** General manager/administrator * **Supervises:** N/A * **Location:** Residential condominium **Position Purpose** Ensure safety and order within the condominium by controlling access, monitoring common areas, and safeguarding the integrity of residents, visitors, property, and equipment in accordance with protocols established by management. **Main Responsibilities** * Control access of people, vehicles, and suppliers to the condominium. * Record entries and exits in a physical or digital logbook. * Conduct periodic patrols of common areas, parking lots, and perimeter. * Immediately report any incidents, anomalies, or suspicious situations. * Coordinate entry of external services (maintenance, courier, messenger, etc.). * Provide support during emergencies (fires, floods, power failures, etc.) following safety protocols. * Supervise proper use of common areas and compliance with internal regulations. * Maintain constant communication with management and other guards on shift. * Care for and maintain assigned equipment in good condition (radio, flashlight, logbook, uniform, etc.). * Assist in receiving mail or packages, ensuring proper delivery. **Candidate Profile** * **Minimum Education:** Completed secondary school (preferably high school diploma or private security course). * **Experience:** 1 to 3 years in surveillance, access control, or property security roles. * **Age:** 25 to 55 years (recommended). * **Gender:** No preference. * **Physical Condition:** Fit to perform patrols and prolonged observation duties. * **Additional Requirements:** * No criminal record. * Availability for shifts (day/night). * Private security course or certification (desirable). **Competencies and Skills** * Proven responsibility and honesty. * Attention to detail and strong observational skills. * Respectful and courteous treatment toward residents and visitors. * Ability to act under pressure and in emergency situations. * Clear and assertive communication. * Discipline, punctuality, and commitment. * Ability to work as part of a team. **Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * % of incidents correctly reported and addressed. * 100% compliance with scheduled patrols. * Average response time to incidents. * Resident satisfaction rating (≥ 90%). * Zero unexcused absences or delays. **Working Conditions** * **Schedule:** 12x12 shifts * **Environment:** Indoor and outdoor condominium areas. * **Equipment:** Communication radio, logbook, uniform, flashlight, whistle, camera (if applicable). **We Offer** $8,600.00 monthly net.
