Customs Operations Assistant Venkel Customs What will you do in this position? Generate Article 23 documents along with their respective entry appointments at the various terminals of the Port of Veracruz for export operations, under prior instruction and coordination with Account Executives handling clients exporting through the Port of Veracruz. Requirements: - Knowledge of administrative procedures for generating maneuvers and appointments on terminal portals. - Theoretical knowledge of foreign trade and customs matters. - Experience in operational processes related to pre-clearance, export release, and port-related operational procedures. Responsibilities: - Preparation of Article 23 documents via terminal portals. - Appointment request submission for export entry via terminal portals. - Generation of the maneuver set and notification to the transport carrier. - Uploading of Article 23 into the system. - Entry of operation information into the internal control report. - Monitoring of generated appointment entries and receipt of fiscal folio numbers. - Coordination and follow-up on non-entries and appointment changes requested by the carrier, client, and/or EC. - Preparation of the 'Debit and Credit' format in case of vessel roll. - For refrigerated operations, connection letters are prepared. - For IMO operations, entry requests are prepared.
