ACCOUNTING ANALYST Venkel Customs Nuevo Laredo Customs Support What will you do in this position? Timely, reliable, and consistent recording of the company's various financial operations and/or transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and current tax regulations; preparation and reconciliation of accounting and/or tax working papers for the company's monthly and annual closings. Requirements: Prior experience in this role (1 year or more). Knowledge of accounting systems (Contpaq), accounting standards, and tax reforms. Responsibilities: Receipt, custody, physical and digital archiving, and control of bank accounts. Preparation of daily and monthly bank reconciliations. Preparation of reconciliations for bank loans and moral loans. Branch-level registration and control of checks in transit. Registration and preparation of working papers supported by documentary evidence. Monthly monitoring and tracking of items in transit, resolution of discrepancies in bank reconciliations. Balance control and reconciliation. Management and control of fixed asset inventory. Control of operational and administrative guarantee deposit accounts. Creation of accounting accounts in internal systems and Contpaq. Competencies and Skills: Data analysis. Internal and external customer service. Teamwork. Analytical thinking.
