




Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, leading the team to foster an optimal work environment and deliver excellent customer service, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction. Operational and inventory management Oversee general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, fostering an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize both damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model and ensuring employees provide customer guidance while utilizing all tools provided by AutoZone—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying opportunities for improvement and training. * Supervise that all employees comply daily with their scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s established dress code, interact with each other and our customers with the highest levels of respect, friendliness, and professionalism, and adhere to AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improving them, promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenses within the team. * Assign and monitor area supervisors’ tasks—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, and parking lot—as well as review daily cash counts for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct register closings for staff under your supervision following AutoZone’s prescribed procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or using in-store test stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to work various shifts AutoZone de México is the leading retailer and distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
