Responsible for the credit line onboarding process, disbursement process, and follow-up, ensuring compliance with conditions defined for each Accredited Client. #### ***Responsibilities*** * Maintain close monitoring of the portfolio of Accredited Clients through the following activities: * In the Scotia Pro system, load processes to establish client conditions authorized by the Credit Directorate, as well as disbursement and payment processes, and manage and control the assigned portfolio, ensuring that operations for the business lines served comply with current regulations, policies, and procedures. * + Conduct closing meetings with the coverage team, involving all areas participating in the transaction, to understand terms and conditions authorized by the Credit Directorate, agree on their implementation, maintain portfolio quality, and prepare and draft meeting minutes. * + Schedule follow-up meetings with the Coverage Teams for clients assigned to your portfolio—including Relationship Teams, Credit Solutions, Structuring, Customer Service Support, Portfolio Administration, etc.—to ensure proper administration of agreed conditions and compliance therewith; prepare and draft meeting minutes. * + Prepare and validate documentation required to execute credit line disbursements requested by clients, based on authorization granted by the Credit Directorate. * + Validate and monitor guarantees for clients assigned to your portfolio, proactively coordinating with Accredited Clients and/or Coverage Teams to ensure appraisals, insurance policies, site visits—where applicable—remain valid, and credit lines remain active. * + Provide client service regarding residual releases and Back-to-Back transactions. * + Manage tracking of promissory notes and/or Disbursement Confirmation Letters submitted to the Securities Custody Department within ten (10) business days from the disbursement date. * Maintain complete and up-to-date credit files for portfolio clients, either digitally or in hard copy, as required. * Validate ongoing updating and maintenance of portfolio client data in the Scotia Pro system, in accordance with Annual Reviews and/or credit memos. * Promptly identify issues that may negatively impact customer service in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and follow up as necessary to achieve satisfactory resolution. * Promote a customer-centric culture by appropriately monitoring fulfillment of conditions for each client in the assigned portfolio. * Understand the Bank’s risk culture and how risk appetite must be considered in daily activities and decisions. * Safeguard the Institution’s assets and liabilities * + Strictly adhere to Business Conduct Guidelines, promptly reporting any unusual or concerning transactions per established procedures, as well as adhering to the Institution’s security protocols and relevant authorities’ requirements. * + Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. * Execute the Institution’s Compliance procedures in accordance with applicable manuals: * Support relevant departments in obtaining additional information regarding unusual activities reported by staff or institutional systems. * Support the Compliance Officer in preparing Suspicious Transaction Reports. * Advise, where appropriate, colleagues from other business lines and Bank departments on Compliance matters and their impact on the Commercial Portfolio. * Immediately report any unusual or concerning transaction to the Anti-Money Laundering Unit and to your supervisor.
