Implements efficient internal controls and coordinates audits A prominent media company in Torreón, Coah. **Position Objective** To lead and supervise the accounting and tax processes of the company's multiple legal entities, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial information accuracy, and accounting process optimization. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise general and tax accounting for all group companies, ensuring correct classification of costs, expenses, and revenues. * Coordinate the preparation of financial statements and periodic accounting reports. * Ensure compliance with Mexican tax regulations and keep processes updated according to legal changes. * Implement and maintain efficient internal controls for accounting and tax processes. * Manage bank reconciliations. * Analyze financial information and generate executive reports using tools such as Excel and Power BI. * Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation of processes and accounting evidence. * Supervise, train, and lead the accounting team. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate or tax accounting roles, preferably in companies with multiple legal entities. * Strong knowledge of SAP Business One or similar ERP; experience in implementation or administration of accounting systems is desirable. * Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas). * Knowledge of Power BI or data analytics tools (desirable). * Up-to-date knowledge of Mexican tax regulations and corporate accounting standards. * Leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. * Analytical ability, problem-solving capability, and data-driven decision-making skills.
