REVENUE AND EXPENSE CONTROL ASSISTANT

Description

Position Summary: Record cash flow transactions, track reconciliations, report discrepancies, collect cash, perform voucher closings and cash drawer audits, and handle valuables. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive management of cash flow and financial transactions. 2. Collaboration in controlling store revenue and expenses. 3. Ensuring accuracy in payment and cash records. Accurately and promptly record cash flow-related transactions to support control over store revenue and expenses. Track application of reconciliations and/or pending clarifications related to Marketplace and Click & Collect returns. Report discrepancies or shortages to the Collaborator Experience Leader to request and validate resolution. Collect cash from registers (hourly, upon request from the Cashier Department, or when the cash limit is exceeded) to maintain each register below the prescribed limit. Perform voucher closings and general cash drawer audits during store opening, shift changes, or store closing to ensure cash and card payment records match system entries. Provide card transaction information (vouchers) to assist staff in resolving inquiries regarding unrecognized charges. Handle valuables (counting, packaging, depositing into the revolving cash box) per established procedures to ensure secure custody until handover to the valuables transportation service. Count, package, and record loose change to verify its completeness upon receipt and dispatch. Collaborate in physical, piece-by-piece inventory counts using internal resources alongside the Inventory Department.
