Position Summary: Ensure the operationality and accuracy of data transmission from satellite tracking devices and ELDs by providing advanced technical support to internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities: 1. GPS Device Homologation and Configuration 2. Monitoring Platform Administration (Zeek GPS, Fleetnet) 3. Advanced Technical Support to Internal and External Customers **I. Position Objective** Ensure the operationality, accuracy, and continuity of data transmission from satellite tracking devices and ELDs by providing advanced technical support to both internal customers (installers) and external customers. **II. Main Responsibilities:** * **Homologation and Configuration:** Program and configure GPS device commands prior to deployment for installation. * **Platform Management:** Manage vehicle onboarding, offboarding, and modifications on monitoring platforms (**Zeek GPS, Fleetnet**). * **Remote Support to Installers:** Provide telephone or remote assistance to GPS technicians during installation to verify that the unit is "online" and reporting ignition status, panic alerts, and sensor data. * **Fault Diagnosis:** Analyze why a unit has stopped reporting, verifying SIM card status, data plan validity, and transmission logs. * **Customer Technical Support:** Address customer inquiries regarding platform usage, geofence creation, and speeding violation reports. **III. Specialized and Control Responsibilities** * **SIM Inventory Management:** Maintain strict control over installed SIM cards, their data consumption, and renewal dates with the provider. * **Firmware Updates:** Execute remote software update campaigns on devices to enhance security and performance. * **Technical Documentation:** Create and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base containing specific wiring diagrams for each vehicle or heavy machinery model. * **Transmission Audit:** Conduct weekly fleet sweeps to identify units with "no reporting" status and schedule proactive maintenance.
