Job Summary: We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to ensure raw material and product quality through physicochemical analysis and sampling. Key Highlights: 1. Operation of basic laboratory equipment DESCRIPTION **Join our Operations team** as a *Laboratory Technician*, where you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our raw materials, in-process products, finished products, and critical inputs through the proper application of sampling and physicochemical analysis techniques. ### **Job Requirements** **Education:** * Chemical Technician or related field. **Specific Knowledge and Skills:** * Physical and chemical testing. * Operation of basic laboratory equipment: analytical balance, titration glassware. * Fundamental chemistry knowledge. * Basic Microsoft Office proficiency. * Basic statistics and result interpretation. **Experience:** * 1 year of experience in mineral laboratory analysis and operation, laboratory assistant, or laboratory technician roles. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Perform sampling and analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished products according to the sampling plan. * Analyze critical inputs such as *pet coke*, bags, and intercompany lime, as applicable. * Prepare and report physicochemical analysis results promptly. * Compare results against specifications and report deviations to the Laboratory Supervisor. * Release raw materials and products based on obtained results. * Maintain laboratory equipment in optimal condition, adhering to maintenance and calibration schedules. * Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S practices. ### **What We Offer?** * **30 days’ bonus (aguinaldo)**. * **50% vacation premium**. * **10% monthly food vouchers**. ### **Department:** **Operations Directorate** ### **Reports To:** **Laboratory Supervisor** If you meet the profile and are interested in joining a company committed to quality and continuous improvement, we look forward to your application!
