Geologo Jr Education: Bachelor's or Engineering degree in Geology (only this major) Basic English Must reside in Durango and be available to travel Minimum experience. **Objective:** Responsible for organizing and carrying out quality control tasks to ensure a continuous supply of mineral material in optimal conditions. Make independent decisions and consult with supervisor as needed to obtain specific guidance in unusual situations. Provide support in geological tasks as required by ongoing projects. **Functions and responsibilities** * Supervise quality in extraction areas according to the progress planned by the Mine Manager. **Collecting samples as part of daily production quality monitoring.** * Supervise the quality of raw material shipments to processing plants. * Quality supervision at both perlite mines. * Stay updated on the application of internally defined analytical methods. * Perform necessary analyses for process control and reliably and promptly transfer analysis information. * Data entry, database consolidation. * Daily reporting. * Achieve, through synergy with Mining and Processing Plant teams, standardization and implementation of best practices in the quality area. * Conduct data analysis to implement improvements (reducing variability at sites) and follow up on corrective actions derived from observations made on production processes. **Ensure necessary geological support for mine development, planning, and exploitation.** **Required knowledge** Basic English, proficiency in Office software, knowledge of volcanic deposits, field geological and mineralogical knowledge, geological interpretation skills, geochemistry, statistical knowledge, and knowledge of industrial minerals processing. **Required skills** · High willingness for daily fieldwork · Proactive · Ability to analyze risk situations · Leadership · Teamwork · Adherence to corporate guidelines · Service-oriented attitude and communication skills **Environmental and Safety Responsibilities** Basic knowledge of safety regulations and how to apply them in the field.
