Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists PYCAPSA seeks a visionary artificial intelligence leader to head its new AI department. This director will serve as the company's logical brain: reviewing legacy processes, proposing new ways of working, and leveraging AI to streamline operations and increase profitability. Responsibilities * Define and execute the AI vision aligned with PYCAPSA's strategy. * Develop predictive models and machine learning solutions to optimize maintenance, planning, inventory, logistics, and HR. * Integrate AI solutions with the SAP ERP system and specialized packaging production software, ensuring data quality and availability. * Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists and engineers. * Establish data governance and ethics policies, and communicate the ROI of AI initiatives. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; graduate degree in data science or MBA preferred. Master’s programs in AI (e.g., UVEG, UNIR) exist, but advanced training in data analysis, algorithms, and management is essential. * Minimum 10 years of technology experience, including at least 5 years leading AI projects in manufacturing industry. * Knowledge of machine learning, computer vision, and data analytics. * Experience with SAP and ERPs specialized in packaging. * Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects with measurable outcomes. * Familiarity with AI ethics standards and data privacy laws.
