Purchasing Manager

**Purpose of the position:** Plan, coordinate and control purchasing department activities, ensuring timely and efficient supply of goods and services, with optimal quality, cost and delivery terms, aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives. **Key responsibilities:** * Design and implement purchasing and procurement policies and procedures. * Develop and maintain relationships with key national and international suppliers. * Negotiate purchase terms, contracts, pricing, delivery schedules and quality requirements. * Ensure adherence to supply timelines according to operational needs. * Oversee supplier evaluation and selection based on technical and financial criteria. * Manage inventory control and optimal stock levels in coordination with logistics and warehousing. * Assess supply chain risks and define mitigation strategies. * Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities in procurement. * Monitor compliance with legal, tax and internal policy requirements.
