Position Summary: We are seeking a Safety and Hygiene Assistant to support the annual program, training courses, and supervision of Safety and Hygiene (SH) committee activities, conduct safety inspections, and assist in developing processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support in monitoring safety and hygiene programs 2. Supervision and scheduling of Safety and Hygiene (SH) committee activities 3. Delivery of induction courses We are a group dedicated to selling automobiles from the brands Ford, Toyota, Mazda, as well as Polaris and Autostar Pre-Owned Vehicles. We have a new employment opportunity for you at our corporate office as a **Safety and Hygiene Assistant**, responsible for the following **activities**: * Support in monitoring the annual safety and hygiene program for each work center. * Register employees for relevant SH training courses based on their job responsibilities across various group agencies. * Assist in supervising and scheduling Safety and Hygiene (SH) committee activities. * Inspections: Schedule and conduct periodic, standardized inspections with members of the Safety & Hygiene committees to identify unsafe conditions and required maintenance in work areas, buildings, machinery, etc., at each work center. * Support updating various licenses related to the department. * Assist in developing processes and programs. * Deliver induction courses. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree or Engineering degree * Knowledge of safety and hygiene, accident investigation, and risk analysis. * Experience preparing reports * Proactive * Organized Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $16,900.00 - $16,995.00 per month Benefits: * Savings fund * Employee discount * Discounts and preferential pricing * Maternity leave exceeding statutory requirements * Paternity leave exceeding statutory requirements * Sick leave * Company parking * Free parking * Employee referral program * Medical expense insurance * Grocery vouchers Work Location: On-site employment
