We are looking for a systems engineer to help build, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure. **Responsibilities** * Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure * Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools. * Proactively ensure the highest levels of system and infrastructure availability * Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes. * Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies * Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce human intervention time for any task. * Participate in the design of information systems and operational support. * Provide second- and third-level support * Serve as liaison with vendors and other IT staff for problem resolution. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree, Engineering, or related field * Proven work experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux-based environments. * Solid experience administering and tuning application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX) * Experience with Solid Cloud, preferably AWS * Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox) * Experience with monitoring systems * Experience with automation software * Strong knowledge of networking (OSI network layers, TCP/IP) Job Type: Full-time Salary: $10,000.00 - $12,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site
