Job Summary: We are seeking an OPTOMETRIST with a completed bachelor's degree to provide high-quality clinical optometric care and contribute to ethical optical sales, including examinations and operation of advanced equipment. Operation of equipment such as OCT, Pentacam, and retinal photography. **HeadHunter Group is looking for an OPTOMETRIST in Centro Sur \- Querétaro, Querétaro** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- **OPTOMETRIST**. **Education.** Completed bachelor's degree in Optometry. **Purpose.** Provide high-quality clinical optometric care and actively contribute to ethical optical sales. **Key Responsibilities:** **Clinical Care.** * Perform comprehensive optometric examinations and specialized studies. * Detect signs of pathology and refer patients to ophthalmologists. * Support and maintain complete, up-to-date clinical records. * Conduct pre-consultations, including: * Visual acuity testing. * Visual function assessment. * Refraction. * Intraocular pressure measurement. * Pupillary dilation when required by the patient. **Technical Skills:** * Preferred: OCT (macular, optic nerve, anterior segment, and cornea). * Preferred: Pentacam. * Preferred: Retinal photography. **Optics and Sales.** * Explain lens options and optical treatments to patients. * Prepare quotations and close lens sales. * Ensure accurate and complete prescriptions. * Coordinate with the laboratory regarding lens and supply shipment, receipt, and quality control. * Clearly and ethically explain procedures to patients. * Lens sales. * Lens fitting. * Retinal photography. **Control and Organization.** * Maintain optometric equipment. * Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs. * Adhere to clinic hygiene and organization protocols. * Participate in inventory selection and control activities alongside the administrator. Work Schedule * Monday: 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch break. * Tuesday: 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch break. * Wednesday: 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM. * Thursday: 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch break. * Friday: 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. **Location:** Centro Sur, Querétaro, Qro.
