Operations Executive Division: Venkel Global What will you do in this role? Coordinate, execute, and comprehensively monitor the operational and administrative cycle of assigned shipments across all modes (air, ocean, and land). Your mission is to ensure accurate documentation management, strict cost control, and proactive communication with internal and external clients and suppliers, guaranteeing compliance with transit times, profitability margins, and Venkel Cargo’s quality standards. Requirements: 1–2 years of combined experience in maritime, air, and land customs operations; client and supplier management. Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Customs, International Business, or related field. Responsibilities: * Handle and process multimodal shipment requests in accordance with established procedures and SOPs. * Coordinate space availability and capacity with airlines, shipping lines, land carriers, and correspondent agents. * Source and validate land transportation units and specialized equipment, ensuring compliance with authorized buy/sell costs. * Generate and dispatch Transport Orders, instruction letters, and operational guidelines to all providers involved in the supply chain. * Maintain up-to-date shipment status in the system (TMS/SCOPE), ensuring real-time visibility from pickup through final delivery (door-to-door). * Timely inform internal and external clients of itinerary changes, event date updates, or operational incidents. * Notify operational deviations, delays, hold-ups, or risks affecting timelines or costs, proposing immediate solutions. * Review, validate, and prepare core documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List) and transport-specific documents (AWB, BL, Waybills, EIR). * Manage specific validations such as AMS (maritime/air) and ensure adherence to current customs regulations. * Upload, organize, and archive supporting documentation and PODs (Proof of Delivery) in the TMS per internal guidelines. * Enter and manage estimated costs and revenues in the TMS/SCOPE, ensuring P&L integrity per shipment. * Verify supplier invoices against authorized amounts. * Confirm all financial and operational data is accurate prior to final file closure to ensure the expected margin. Competencies and Skills: * Operational distinctions between FCL/LCL (ocean), dry/refrigerated cargo (land), and air transit times. * Expert handling of Bills of Lading (BL), Air Waybills (AWB), Waybills, and transportation contracts. * In-depth understanding of responsibilities, risks, and costs according to Incoterms. * Basic knowledge of Customs Law, clearance procedures, and specific regulations (AMS, ISF, etc.). * Proficiency in TMS systems (preferably SCOPE) and carrier/airline tracking portals. * Margin calculation, understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L), foreign exchange rates, and concepts of demurrage/detention/storage. Intermediate/advanced English proficiency for reading documentation and communicating with overseas agents.
