





**ofi Mexico** is seeking an **Operations Manager** to lead the strategic and operational activities of our coffee plant in **Altotonga, Veracruz**. We are a global company dedicated to the purchase, processing, and marketing of coffee, committed to quality, sustainability, and the development of our producing communities. **Position Objective** Oversee daily coffee operations in the assigned country/region, including procurement, processing, quality, shipping, and logistics, ensuring compliance with the company’s established procedures and systems. **Key Responsibilities** * Implement the coffee procurement strategy: sourcing points, storage, operational contracting, and execution of systems/procedures. * Set zone-specific procurement targets aligned with the overall strategy. * Design and ensure compliance with the TCH (Technical Coffee Handbook). * Manage national procurement volumes and implement corrective actions during the season. * Develop and scale the sustainable coffee program in accordance with certification standards. * Supervise quality, yields, variances, and operational efficiency from procurement through to shipment. * Optimize efficiency at mills and in blending of coffee qualities. * Coordinate procurement, processing, quality, and logistics for seamless operations. * Ensure full compliance with all procedures and systems. * Conduct random audits at units, warehouses, and plants. * Measure and control operational risks: credit, counterparty, system, and inventory. * Ensure operational costs remain within budget. * Keep the team motivated, aligned with strategy, and continuously trained. * Monitor market prices, competitor activities, and harvest conditions. * Issue periodic reports on market, production, and quality. * Comply with safety, hygiene, and food safety management system standards. **Success Indicators / Desired Experience** * Experience managing CR&S (Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability) programs and sustainable coffee procurement. * Proven results in processing efficiency and yield optimization. * Effective control of losses related to quality, counterparty, credit, or systems. * Management of direct/indirect costs in line with budget. * Reduction in quality-related claims. * Compliance with procedures and operational safety. * Timeliness and effectiveness of shipments. **Requirements** * Industrial Engineering or related degree. * Minimum 4 years in similar roles within the agro-industrial, food, or operations sectors. * Experience managing volume, logistics, quality, and food safety. * **Advanced English (mandatory).** * SAP knowledge. * Ability to develop presentations and control formats. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Knowledge of food safety management systems. **If you are interested…** Apply directly through this channel and join ofi Mexico—a purpose-driven global company focused on sustainability and talent development.
